Fellow Pug Lovers. One of our founders has suffered a tremendous loss this week. Fred Campos mother has passed away. Fred has asked me to convey the message to everyone that he appreciates the messages of condolences he has received. He also asked that instead of flowers that a donation be made to DFW PUG RESCUE in the memory of his mother ANA MARIA CAMPOS. The Campos family and DFW Pug Rescue thank you for honoring this request. Where: 619 Riverdale, Ft. Worth, TX 76132

·        I-30W exit Camp Bowie.
·        Go to the 2nd light at Bryant Irvin and go left.
·        Follow Bryant Irvin for about 4-5 miles. Will pass I-20 and City View Shopping Center. When you see a McDonald’s on the left, turn right at the next light; Oakmont.
·        Turn right on Bellaire Dr.
·        Go to the 2nd flashing red light; Meadows West Dr. Turn left.
·        House is on the right on the corner of Meadows West Dr. and Riverdale.

·        I-20W to Bryant Irvin. Exit and turn left at the light.

11AM-5PM Pug Tune UP (TOE NAIL TRIM for $5 donation)

There will be no admission charge but, a $5 donation per person is requested to
help pay the cost of the pavilion rental. Please come prepared to have fun and
watch our pugs in their best Spring Bonnets. Come with a generous heart to
purchase a chance on the many auction items that have been donated to our
fundraiser by area businesses and individuals. We anticipate over $80,000 in
Veterinary expenses this year. All of our Pugs are given vaccinations, spayed or
neutered, and given complete Veterinary care before being placed in their new
homes. This can include expensive treatments and surgeries for some Pugs.

DFWPRC volunteers are collecting old cell phones and used ink cartridges as a
fund raiser to help pay for veterinary care. If you have any of these items please
consider donating them – bring them to the picnic.

Dedicated DFW Pug Rescue Volunteer -- Needs your help!

We have a volunteer that has given her time, gas, and love to these beautiful pugs. This volunteer is currently in the hospital and without income or insurance. I know we've all pulled together in the past to help others within our community, let's pull together to help this dedicate Pug Lover.

Some of the acts of kindness this volunteer has performed are:

Permantently Foster a pug with a chronic disease.
Transport pugs from all over the Metroplex.
Pick-up pugs from the shelters....even getting in line at 5:00 a.m. so that she could be the first in line to rescue a pug.
Foster as many as 8 pugs at one time!
Some of you may know who I'm referring to, some may not. Please understand that I do not want to embarrass this volunteer or cause her any discomfort, that is why I am not posting her name.

If would like to help out this volunteer, please click on the "Donate" button and in the notes section be sure to put "Volunteer Assistance Fund". All funds will be gathered and sent to this dedicated, kind-hearted person. I know that she will be overwhelmed with your kind words and thoughfulness.
